PGA National is one of the most-searched golf names in Palm Beach County, partly because The Champion course hosts the PGA Tour's Cognizant Classic. PGA National Resort says it has five courses: The Champion, The Palmer, The Fazio, The Match, which opened in 2021, and the par-3 Wee Bear. Around the resort are residential neighborhoods with a wide range of homes. Because the golf is run by a resort, I always ask how access works for homeowners before a buyer assumes anything. Below is every home currently for sale in PGA National. To compare it with BallenIsles and Admirals Cove, see my golf communities guide, or reach out and tell me how often you play.

About the Club

  • The resort opened in 1980. It has hosted the 1983 Ryder Cup, the 1987 PGA Championship and today's PGA Tour Cognizant Classic.
  • The Champion (originally Tom and George Fazio; comprehensively redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 2014, home of the 'Bear Trap').
  • The Palmer (Arnold Palmer, 1984), The Fazio (1980, originally 'The Haig'), and The Staple and The Match (Andy Staples, 2021, from the former Squire Course).
  • The Estates Course (Karl Litten) joined in 1988, along with the Wee Bear par-3 course.
  • Resort spa, dining and the PGA National Members Club. Membership is not tied to homeownership; confirm with the club.
  • A large gated residential community with dozens of neighborhoods.

Membership terms and fees change. I don't list them; confirm directly with the club.
